My Story
Lexie Otto, founder and principal designer of Blue Rider Design, was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and has also lived in New England and on the West Coast. Lexie believes exceptional design begins with understanding how people live. Her diverse experiences have shaped a design perspective that blends timeless sophistication with practical, livable solutions.
A passionate art enthusiast, Lexie spends her free time creating artwork, restoring furniture, and building or repurposing pieces by hand. Her innate curiosity and lifelong love of learning inspire her to understand how things are made, how materials perform, and how thoughtful design can improve the way people live. This inquisitive approach informs every project, allowing her to make intentional decisions that balance aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship, and budget.
As a lifelong athlete, Lexie brings the qualities of teamwork, discipline, and clear communication to every client relationship.
